First Annual Hibernian Cornhole Tournament

Brothers,

As you know we have a great need to replace the defunct Fairfield County Irish Festival as our signature fundraising event.

A Committee led by VP Mark Ryan along with Charities Chair Steve Baunach and Treasurer Steve Boyle was set up to develop new ideas.

They recommended a Corn Hole tournament. It’s an increasingly popular game which can be played by folks of any age…men and women, boys and girls.

I am delighted to report that our inaugural event on Saturday evening was an

ABSOLUTE AND RESOUNDING SUCCESS.

Thank you Bro. Ryan for your tenacity and zeal in organizing the event.

Thank you Bro. Baunach for your previously hidden artistic talent in preparing the sets of new corn hole boards. They were the hit of the raffle.

Thank you Bro. Boyle for managing the entries and keeping us focused and on schedule.

Thanks to everybody who came out to play or just support the cause….to those who brought friends and family….to those who donated raffle prizes.

And to everybody who helped make this new idea a great success.
